How current features use your details, and what supporting Astrologram means.

The project
Astrologram brings birth charts, Ziwei DouShu, and tarot into one space for curiosity and reflection. Calculation conventions and implementation limits are documented separately on the methods page.
Accounts and saved profiles
Signing in uses an authentication cookie. Account and session records, including authentication data and session metadata such as IP address and user agent, are stored through Better Auth in Cloudflare D1.
You can save up to three personal profiles. Saved names, calculation sex, birth date, time choices, and birth location are stored with your account in D1. The account page lets you edit or delete individual profiles. Deleting a profile removes its active database record; this page does not promise immediate removal from infrastructure logs or backups.
Chart calculations run in your browser. Place-name searches are sent to this website’s place-search endpoint. Saving a profile sends its details to the account service; selecting it later retrieves them for use in the calculator.
On your device
A language cookie remembers your preference for up to one year. The app also uses tab storage to resume a tarot question and cards after sign-in, with a 30-minute validity check. Language changes can briefly carry form details through tab storage and browser history, with a 60-second restoration window.
Validity windows control when the app restores data; they are not a guarantee that browser storage or history is erased on a timer. Avoid leaving personal details in a shared browser.
AI tarot readings
AI readings require sign-in. A reading sends the question, three card names and orientations, and language to the server, which forwards them to OpenRouter and its selected model provider. This feature does not send your saved birth profiles in the reading request.
The request asks for a provider that denies data collection. That setting alone is not a promise of zero retention across all services. Do not put sensitive or unnecessary personal information in a question. AI text can contain errors.
Supporting Astrologram
Support is voluntary. The support link opens a Stripe-hosted payment page where you enter payment details. The app does not collect card numbers through its own form.
Support does not unlock paid features or upgrade an account. Any future Pro upgrade will be offered separately. Check the amount, currency, and payment terms shown on Stripe before paying.
